Upon first moving to Estes Park, Colorado in the Winter of 1989-90, I hired on as a ski lift operator at Hidden Valley Ski Resort within Rocky Mountain National Park. Several times a week as I would pass this meadow, I would see these huge bull elk standing, grazing and sparring. I named them The Breakfast Club since it was usually that time of the morning.

Being born and raised in Henderson, NV., just outside Las Vegas, and from the time I was a small child, I wanted to become an artist, but I never dreamed it would turn out the way it has. As I love to hunt, fish and explore the out-of-doors, and include many experiences in the field as part of my fine art subject matter, I have come to appreciate what Mother Nature has so magnificently pieced together for us to enjoy on a daily basis.
