Word on the artistic streets of Western North Carolina is that local fine artist, Craig T. Burgwardt, has been invited by local artist/proprietor, Teri Siewert, to show his wares in the prestigious and newly-renovated the Mahogany House gallery, located at 240 Depot St., Frog Level/Downtown, Waynesville, NC.
Burgwardt, born and raised in Henderson, Nevada, moved to WNC in the Fall of 2007 with his wife and daughter, after a 17-year residence in Estes Park, Colorado, in order for them to be closer to his wife's parents in Blairsville, Georgia.
Although Burgwardt currently is working mostly in acrylic, he also dabbles in oils and watercolor when the mood strikes him, and when he finds the time, he has also spent quality time woodcarving artistic decoys.
