This made for such a great photo, that I just had to paint it! This image is looking in a Westerly direction from the Southeast corner of Lake Junaluska, located just outside of Waynesville, NC, in Haywood County. The dock and canoe silhouette with the reflecting sun dancing off of the waters made for a beautiful walk around the lake ... and this image.
Being born and raised in Henderson, NV., just outside Las Vegas, and from the time I was a small child, I wanted to become an artist, but I never dreamed it would turn out the way it has. As I love to hunt, fish and explore the out-of-doors, and include many experiences in the field as part of my fine art subject matter, I have come to appreciate what Mother Nature has so magnificently pieced together for us to enjoy on a daily basis.
I live in Waynesville, NC. am a veteran fine artist, graphic designer/illustrator and photographer and spend my spare time fishing, panning for gold, tinkering in the shop, watching NASC...
