This image originated from a beautiful, full color photo of a Robin's nest in a bush with a solitary blue egg in it. I processed the color version, but had the idea of turning everything in the image EXCEPT the egg to grayscale. The results are quite stunning, I must admit. The great part about it is that, if requested, I could color the egg any color under the mid-morning sun!

Being born and raised in Henderson, NV., just outside Las Vegas, and from the time I was a small child, I wanted to become an artist, but I never dreamed it would turn out the way it has. As I love to hunt, fish, camp, hike and explore the out-of-doors, I include many experiences in the field as part of my fine art subject matter, I have come to appreciate what Mother Nature has so magnificently pieced together for us to enjoy on a daily basis.
