The Colorado high country is the exact opposite of WNC when it comes to the changing of Fall colors. The region is covered mostly in Ponderosa and Lodgepole pine, with pockets of Aspen trees sprinkled throughout, mostly in more moisture-laden areas around creeks and lakes.
About Craig Burgwardt
Being born and raised in Henderson, NV., just outside Las Vegas, and from the time I was a small child, I wanted to become an artist, but I never dreamed it would turn out the way it has. As I love to hunt, fish, camp, hike and explore the out-of-doors, I include many experiences in the field as part of my fine art subject matter, I have come to appreciate what Mother Nature has so magnificently pieced together for us to enjoy on a daily basis.
