Artist's Description
I was float tubing a gravel pit while fishing for bass on the Colorado Front Range. Suddenly, the skies opened up and although, sporadic, huge raindrops started pelting everything around, including me. The goslings started running for Mother Goose to seek shelter from the dime-sized raindrops. This is my depiction of that event.
Being born and raised in Henderson, NV., just outside Las Vegas, and from the time I was a small child, I wanted to become an artist, but I never dreamed it would turn out the way it has. As I love to hunt, fish and explore the out-of-doors, and include many experiences in the field as part of my fine art subject matter, I have come to appreciate what Mother Nature has so magnificently pieced together for us to enjoy on a daily basis.
